The Role
As National Sales Director – Cleaning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering ambitious growth plans. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for:
Developing and executing a sales strategy that drives sustainable, profitable growth.
Self-generating high-quality leads and winning new business.
Building long-term client relationships and ensuring a seamless handover to operations.
Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services.
Analysing competitor activity and market trends to refine strategy.
Coaching, developing, and managing a high-performing sales team to exceed KPIs.
Acting as a visible ambassador for the cleaning division, both internally and externally.
About You
We are looking for a proven sales professional who can demonstrate:
Minimum 5 years’ senior sales experience in the physical cleaning industry, with a strong commercial and pricing background.
A consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Expertise in negotiation, commercial deal-making, and strategic solution design.
Strong leadership skills, with experience of recruiting, coaching, and retaining top talent.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage at senior stakeholder level.
Marketing awareness and ability to use social media platforms for outreach.
Full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel nationally.
A fully checkable 5-year employment history (including references, credit, and right-to-work documentation).
